We take the privacy of our members and visitors seriously. This page explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

The Global Surgical AI Network ("we", "us") is an international network of surgeons. This notice explains how we handle the personal information you give us through this website. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@globalsurgicalainetwork.com.

What we collect

  • Joining the network: your name, email address, role, specialty, institution, country, how you would like to be involved, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as a profile link.
  • Newsletter: your email address.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, organisation if given, and your message.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

How we use it

  • To review membership applications and stay in touch with members about the network's work.
  • To send the newsletter, if you asked to receive it.
  • To respond to messages you send us.

We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit a form. We will never sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, Inc., which may process data in the United States. Applications may also be kept in a secure spreadsheet available only to the network's organising team.

How long we keep it

We keep member details for as long as you remain a member, newsletter details until you unsubscribe, and contact messages for up to two years, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email hello@globalsurgicalainetwork.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or European Union, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
